Amy was born in New Iberia, Louisiana. It wasn't long into her life
when she took an interest into music. However, it was at seven
years old that she became love struck! Her grandpa had taught
her "Silent Night" and it was this that began the dream of a
songwriter. Not knowing how to play other songs, but knowing the
potential of just three chords, she began making up her own
tunes. Eventually she ended up with Karaoke machines and
keyboards to go along with guitars she had accumulated from
Santa. :) Her God-mother and Uncle would provoke her even
more by taking her to her very first concert which included Conway
Twitty, The Judds, and Randy Travis. One day, her mom walked in
and noticed her playing a tune on her keyboard. It was nothing her
mom had ever heard before. Finding out that Amy had created a
new song, she quickly asked Amy if she wanted to take piano
lessons. With a nod of the head, it was done. This opened Amy
up to even more musical possibilities. However, she eventually
would end up slacking from the music for College. With music
still in the back of her mind and knowing how tough the music
business would be to break into, she decided to change her
career path to something that would make her as happy as
writing music. This is when she decided to attend chiropractic
school. Half way through chiropractic school, Amy decided she
couldn't wait any longer to share her music. So, she put together
some great songs and she couldn't be happier about the lives
she's already touched with her tunes. Meanwhile, she is still in
the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Texas Chiropractic College
and she is looking forward to graduating next December.
