For those of you who don't know, health care is
something dear to my heart. That is one of the many
reasons why I chose to enter the chiropractic profession.
In my short time as a chiropractic intern at
Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX, I've
experienced the joy of helping others and I'm grateful to
all of those who've been guiding me along the path of
becoming a doctor. So, as a singer/songwriter and
chiropractic intern, you can imagine my excitement when
something dear to my heart. That is one of the many
reasons why I chose to enter the chiropractic profession.

North York General Hospital of Toronto, ON, CA asked me if I'd like to have my song “H.U.G.”
be the theme song in their fundraising campaign. North York General Hospital is one of
Canada's leading community teaching hospitals and offers a wide range of acute care,
ambulatory and long-term care services. The hospital is affiliated with the University of
Toronto and has, since its founding in 1968, solidified its reputation as the training institution
of choice for many resident physicians. It has a strong teaching role tailored to local needs,
and has many academic and research links. They embrace new ideas and teaching
methods, developing and adapting best practice clinical methods and advancements in
care. Because of this, I couldn't help but say yes! What a joy to help those who've been
helping others and helping to sculpt quality physicians. Not only did I agree for "H.U.G." to be
their theme song, but I also told them that half of the proceeds of the download of "H.U.G."
would go to their fundraising campaign. So, on behalf of those who give their hearts to
